As one of the four major processes in the automotive industry, the
welding process is self-evident. It shoulders the important mission

vehicle. In addition to ensuring the appearance and shape, it must
also ensure that all parts of the final assembly The precision of
the component installation point, so its process is far more
complicated than the other three major processes. The planning and
layout of the production line not only need to consider from the
aspects of precision assurance, production efficiency, distribution
logistics, and storage, but are also limited by the plant area and
structure, Existing conditions such as painting corridors. There is
no perfect layout plan, only the most suitable layout plan at
present.
Delivery method of side panel assembly
Most of the side wall assembly belongs to the A-level appearance
surface, which requires high surface quality. Therefore, its
conveying method needs to consider the conveying efficiency,
whether it needs inventory, the layout area of the side wall line
and other factors. It can be divided into single-side wall
conveying and There are two kinds of supporting conveying for both
sides.
(1) Single side wall conveying
Scope of application: Applicable to welding lines with a relatively
low tempo, and the side lines must be arranged on both sides of the
main line, and the assembly station must be used with the flip
fixture.
(2) Supporting conveying on both sides
Scope of application: suitable for high-tact production lines, when
the workshop area is large and the side line is far away from the
main line.
.Logistics and warehousing planning
Logistics warehousing planning should be considered comprehensively
in combination with process layout and production tempo, and should
roughly follow the following principles:
(1) The size of the storage area should meet the basic inventory
requirements. The basic inventory is generally not less than 2
hours of consumption. The area of the storage area should be
calculated based on the total number of parts, the size of the
parts station and equipment, and the number of frames to ensure
that the area is not less than the area required for 2 hours of
inventory.
(2) The storage area should be close to the logistics door of the
workshop and the logistics channel of the factory area.
(3) In consideration of logistics efficiency and space saving, the
width of logistics channels between welding lines is generally
about 3m.
(4) Logistics channels must be reserved for all workstations that
need to be loaded to ensure distribution space.
(5) The logistics direction cannot be opposite to the overall flow
direction of the body.
